About

Concept

As we mark the 5th anniversary of saitias guitars, we would like to express our sincere gratitude to everyone who has supported us and chosen our instruments. Thanks to you, we have been able to dedicate ourselves to crafting instruments.

Over the past five years, we have finally found the words to express why we have been committed to original design since the beginning. With the launch of our official website, we would like to define this as our brand mission.

Since the 2000s, the concept of “diversity” has steadily taken root across various communities in Japan. Even in the electric guitar and bass industry—where traditional models still dominate—we believe there is a growing demand for new and alternative choices.

We fully respect and support every player who feels:
“I want to stand on stage with an instrument different from others,”
“I want to own something no one else has.”

This is the very foundation of our brand.

Just as other brands with long traditions have contributed to the evolution of music culture by pioneering new movements, designs, and sounds, we express our respect by continuing to challenge ourselves in creating new designs.

Our mission is to expand diversity and broaden the range of choices in electric guitar and bass design.

We have developed and defined our brand color: “Your Blue, My Green.”
It reflects the idea that differences in perception are natural—there are no correct answers—and that what truly matters is what can be created through human connection.

Endorsement policy

We do not produce artist signature models, nor do we enter into endorsement contracts.

There are two reasons for this.

First, we do not want to take away artists’ freedom of choice.
Musicians should always be able to choose the instrument that feels best to them in the moment—the one that allows them to express themselves most naturally. We believe that binding them through contracts would restrict that freedom.

Second, we do not want to disappoint our customers.
Imagine purchasing an artist model, only to see that artist using a completely different instrument at live performances most of the time. That kind of experience can be disheartening.

We believe many people have experienced this, and we want to avoid creating such “unreal” relationships.

Recently, there have been more flexible agreements that allow artists to use products from other brands. However, in reality, many artists still end up using mostly other brands’ products on stage.

If that is the case, we believe it is more honest and fair to clearly state from the beginning that we do not offer artist models.

So why do we feature artists in our promotional videos?

Because we believe that instruments are not just objects, but part of a lifestyle—they truly come alive when played by someone. We simply want to capture the “true appearance” of the musician in that moment, we felt best matched a particular model.

We are not interested in contracts or ownership. We want to share the moment when we feel, “this instrument is at its best right now.”

An artist’s preferences will always change—along with their thoughts, environment, and mindset.
Choosing not to change is also something we respect.

That is why we aim to be a brand that is always easy to choose, and easy to return to—even after some breaks.

We do not want to bind artists; we want to be a brand that is always open, supportive, and ready to be chosen.

We will continue to create instruments that genuinely make people feel:
“I want this instrument,”
“I want to play this song with this instrument.”

With every new model, we hope to celebrate together—through captivating visuals and the shared feeling of “saitias is the best!”
It would be our pleasure to build such a relationship with as many people as possible.
